Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst (FA) assists in analysis of revenue, costs of sales, and operating expenses, as well as identifying, measuring, and tracking Key Performance Indicators.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform reconciliations as needed at the line item level; research and troubleshoot any items identified within the reconciliation process
  • Prepare a monthly and quarterly variance analysis
  • Generate trending analysis or reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Assist business owners with compliance toward budget targets and policies
  • Participate in the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts and special finance projects as needed

Education/Experience

  • BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 0 – 2 years of financial analysis experience
  • Working knowledge of the principles of financial statements, ratio analysis and trend analysis
  • Working knowledge of financial modeling in Microsoft Excel and some experience in both GL and BI applications
  • Experience with Sage Intacct and Adaptive Insights a plus

Key Skills/Qualifications

  • Ability to work autonomously, interact with management and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong analytical skills
