As the field of genetic counseling evolves, so do the career opportunities for genetic counselors (GCs). InformedDNA has a large number of GCs with diverse roles, which is unique for a single institution. We will describe these roles in a webinar series format so prospective and/or current genetic counseling students are aware of future career opportunities.

Telehealth Genetic Counselors Webinar
InformedDNA’s telehealth genetic counselors provide clinical services in a variety of settings. In this interview-style webinar, three InformedDNA GCs describe their roles as telehealth GCs, including their interests, challenges, and day-to-day activities in telehealth genetic counseling. Mary Oliver, MS, CGC is a cancer telehealth GC. Amy Sufka, MS, CGC is an ocular and reproductive telehealth GC. Erin Eichhorn MS, CGC is a cardiac and pharmacogenomics telehealth GC.
Life Science Genetic Counselors Webinar
Life science is a broad field that includes biotechnology and pharmaceuticals like cell and gene therapies. InformedDNA partners with the biopharma industry to screen, test, and engage participants in Life Science programs at the clinical trial and post-market stages. This webinar begins with an educational presentation about life science followed by interviews of GCs that describe their various roles in this area.
